Focused on hand-painted creations, transforming them into wearable art — releasing the spirit of painting from paper, to breathe upon fabrics. Thus begins a fashion dialogue that bridges East and West, weaving past to present.
潮媛梦
CHAO YUAN MENG
许媛媛毕业于汕头大学广告设计专业，其创作的作品曾多次获奖并被母校收藏。2001年以艺术总监身份移民加拿大，曾任《读者》北美版设计总监，并在中，加，美三国创办跨国广告设计机构。服装设计对于许媛媛来说是一次全新的尝试，但20年的审美和设计经验奠定了她扎实的视觉表达与品牌叙事根基，也让她不断思考如何以不同的设计为媒介，搭建跨文化的沟通之桥。
Rebecca graduated from Shantou University in the faculty of Graphic Design. Her creative works have been collected by her alma mater. After immigrating to Canada in 2001 as an Art Director, she established graphic design companies across China, Canada, and the U.S. In addition, Rebecca serving as Design Director for Reader's magazine in North America. With over 20 years of design experience, she now brings her visual storytelling and cross-cultural vision into the world of fashion.

From paper to silk, from brushstroke to silhouette. Inspired by the original paintings of a child, each garment carries the spirit of mountains, rivers, and dreams. Through layers of silk and flowing chiffon, traditional Chinese ink art is reimagined as contemporary couture. YUAN DREAM 2025 is a celebration of creativity, cultural heritage, and the courage to dream beyond boundaries. May every dream find its voice. May every story find its moment to bloom.

12月7日的璀璨之夜，一场大秀汇聚七大设计师品牌： J BY - Ho郝佳，Maya L.Chic，古阿新，Maggie LFashion，潮媛梦，Aurora Fashion， 香严七大品牌以多维度的创意表达与匠心级的工艺呈现，共同构建出一个跨越文化与审美边界的时尚舞台，呈献一场无与伦比的视觉盛宴。
On the evening of December 7, seven distinguished designer brands came together on one extraordinary runway: J BY Ho Hao Jia, Maya L. Chic, GAX (Gu A-Xin), Maggie L Fashion, Chao Yuan Meng, Aurora Fashion, and Xiang Yan. Through diverse creative perspectives and exceptional craftsmanship, the designers collectively created a fashion stage that transcended cultural and aesthetic boundaries. Each collection brought its own unique narrative, culminating in an unforgettable celebration of artistry, innovation, and contemporary fashion.

潮起东方韵，在2025温哥华华裔小姐竞选的舞台上，潮媛梦以东方美学为魂，以创新设计为笔，呈献一场跨越文化与时代的时尚对话。
本届大会以海洋元素为主题，潮媛梦特别以温哥华地标「狮门桥」为创作灵感，将Angela原创中国画融入旗袍设计之中。水墨丹青与现代时尚交织，让每一件旗袍不仅成为佳丽的华服，更成为讲述温哥华故事与中华文化的艺术载体。
当晚，Angela凭借狮门桥主题中国画荣获由新时代电视及城市电视联合颁发的「最佳创意奖」，并由电视台台长亲自颁奖，以表彰其将本地文化地标与传统国画艺术巧妙融合，为华裔小姐旗袍设计注入独特的文化内涵与时代精神。
At the 2025 Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant, Chao Yuan Meng presented a celebration of contemporary Chinese aesthetics, transforming cultural heritage into wearable art through fashion.
Inspired by Vancouver's iconic Lions Gate Bridge and created around Angela's original Chinese painting, the collection reimagined the traditional qipao as a canvas for storytelling. Blending ink painting, local identity, and modern design, each garment embodied a dialogue between East and West, tradition and innovation.
During the event, Angela was honored with the Best Creative Award, presented jointly by Fairchild Television and Talentvision, with the station director personally presenting the award. The recognition celebrated her original Lions Gate Bridge painting, which served as the artistic foundation for the pageant's custom-designed qipaos, successfully merging Vancouver's cultural landmarks with the timeless beauty of Chinese art.
狮门桥作为温哥华最具代表性的城市地标之一，不仅连接北温与温哥华市中心，更象征着沟通、包容与融合。华裔小姐竞选同样是一座桥梁——连接中华传统与当代社会，连接东方文化与西方世界，让更多人看见华裔女性的智慧、魅力与风采。
桥梁承载城市的发展，文化连接时代的未来。正如狮门桥优雅而坚定地横跨海湾，华裔小姐亦以自信与从容展现新时代女性的力量；而潮媛梦则希望通过设计，让传统文化以更年轻、更时尚的方式走向世界，让世界看见旗袍里的江山与时代。
The Lions Gate Bridge is more than a landmark—it is a symbol of connection, linking North Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver while representing openness, unity, and progress. Likewise, Miss Chinese Vancouver serves as a cultural bridge, bringing together Chinese heritage and contemporary society, while showcasing the beauty, intelligence, and confidence of Chinese women in a multicultural world.
Just as the Lions Gate Bridge spans the waters with elegance and strength, the pageant celebrates the grace and resilience of modern women. Through fashion, Chao Yuan Meng seeks to bring traditional culture into the present day, allowing the world to discover the stories, landscapes, and spirit woven into every qipao.
